The Brew Flight of the Week at Twisted Spike

We love good beer and trying new ones. That is where flights create a perfect opportunity for beer drinkers. In our effort to share our love of good beer and to try new ones, we bring you The Brew Flight of the Week. Each week, we will visit one of our favorite spots and build the perfect flight. What does the perfect flight entail? I am glad you asked. When visiting a brewery, it’s important to get a full glimpse of the range that they can successfully achieve in their brewing processes. A flight will be different depending on the availability, but we will always run the gamut of their styles. To start us off we chose Twisted Spike Brewery because they are awesome and have amazing beer.

The Brew Flight of the Week

The Dirty Blonde to start it off. This beer is 6.2% ABV and is a Gold medal winning Belgian Blonde Ale. It’s light, flavorful and gives this flight a great starting point.

Then we move to the Blood Orange IPA another one sitting at 6.2% ABV. This is a West Coast IPA with an awesome citrus flavor from the blood orange. I will say personally, I am not an IPA guy, but this beer is my summer beer of choice. It’s a fantastic entry-level IPA and is loved by IPA fanatics as well.

Next on the list, we get religious with the Holy Beer. This beer comes in at 9.5% ABV as a Belgian Quad. This beer tastes like it was brewed by monks in Belgium.

Finally, we have the Black Snake, a Russian Imperial Stout, brewed here in Oklahoma, so don’t hold the style against it. This beer is bold and weighs in at 9.8% ABV and has that signature dark roasted malt aroma with flavorful chocolate and of course alcohol because this snake bites.

Now it’s your opportunity to try this flight. Stop into the taproom and ask for The Brew Flight of the Week between now and next Saturday the 12th of March, and they will hook you up with this awesome flight for $10 ($3 discount). If you try The Brew Flight of the Week, let us know what you think and tag us on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. While you’re there, check out the food from Barley & Bees, like these loaded tot nachos that were unbelievably delicious.
